Shown above is at its max waterproof capacity; our Sleeper Bag comes in at 8.5L and weighs around 12oz. Remember that this bag is complete with a hard internal core, as well as a floating, waterproof liner. Not only that but the Fred Bag comes stock with a lower skid shield made of black vinyl for protecting the underside of your bag from the elements and your rear tire.

When the bag is totally open you can see the sheer size of this saddle bag and because of its roll top feature, this bag can be compressed down to a 2L pack; making it an ideal choice for adventure riders, bike packers and daily commuters.

The bag is compressed closed by means of a 3/4" compression strap with a YKK side release buckle. This strap works quite well to attach thin items to the top of the bag, for instance a pair of sandals or a packable layer.

Some of the key features of this bag are not only its rugged material choice but also the use of Mega Grip fabric everywhere the bag touches the seat post, PVC coated webbing for the seat rail straps and cam lock buckles for the side compression straps. 

Not only that but we've reinforced the base by added a vinyl "Skid Plate" to protect the bag from muck, mud and the rear tire.
